Tap at Pita Kabob in Visalia. Not too bad for a pumpkin offering, the spice is slightly restrained. Orange and clear with moderate low off-white head.

Pours a slightly hazy orange-apricot color with a thick foamy white head that dissipates gradually. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Medium body with flavors of pumpkin pie spices and bready malt. The finish is sweet with clove and malt notes in the aftertaste. Decent overall.

Pour is a cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma is a decent pumpkin with a spice and a burning. Flavor is a very slight spice and not much after that. The finish is watery and almost flavorless. As far as pumpkin beers go this was way below par. No real spice or pumpkin stand out.

Bottle. Pours clear butterscotch with a small white head that dissipates quickly with some lacing. Aroma is nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, caramel. Flavor is the same, medium spiced, light sweet, minimal bitterness. Medium body. Not bad, but not really my thing.

Bomber thankfully received from IrishBoy. Pours hazy dirty gold with a 3 finger foamy off-white head. The pie spice aroma is detectable a foot away! The nose is incredibly intense. Almost like spice and burnt squash. Maybe cooked squash. Near med body with foamy carb. The allspice is huge. I think I get cooked squash, but this is all about the spice. Brewed with a hint of allspice? I don’t think so. This is all about taking the spice to the extreme. Works well!

Bottle. Pours with a hazed golden hue with a huge, barely off-white head. Aromas of vegetables, toasted grain, caramel, bread, allspice, licorice. Missing a few spices. Perfumey and lightly belgiany. Taste is malt forward, caramel, toasted grain, corn like (pilsner?), light starchy quality with some spice (allspice). Wish there was a bit more spice complexity/spices and a bit more sweetness. Grain dominant in the flavor. Feels a little watery. Well carbonated though. Hard beer to brew, and it is not my favorite of the style.

Bottle 22fl.oz.Light unclear medium yellow to orange color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, spicy, light caramel, pumpkin, light cinnamon. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, spicy, pumpkin. Body is light medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100314]

Bottle @ Copenhaniacs tasting, Pt. 1. Pours unclear deep yellow with a small creamy white head. Nose is sweet of alcohol and heavy spices like anis and rye-bread. One dimensional. Not sickening sweet like many of its siblings though.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, cinnamon and pumpkin. The flavor is sweet with notes of cinnamon, pumkin, and malt, leading to a dry spicy finish. The body is light.
