Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is very much sweet malts, mild hops and some hints of yeast. Flavour is malts, caramel, yeast and hops. Quite sweet notes. A quite nice one.

Draught at Steakhouse Bryggeriet, Ystad, Sweden. Clear deep golden, airy head. Appley nose. Sweet with clean, hard mouthfeel. At first cellary apples hides the hay-like hops. When it warms it first reveals soap and minerals, and eventually also a wealth of oily, bitter Saaz hops. Still feels a bit rough and unpolished.

Undated bottle, though well-aged, I’m quite sure, consumed on 8/21/06.
Snow-white head tops a bubbly medium-golden body with some light brass tints. Retention is strong for its age, though it is filtered, of course, and does recede eventually to a ring, with no lacing.
Peppery/grassy and herbal hops are apparent immediately, in the nose, with an oiliness, almost wood-like, in the background, welded to lightly doughy, lightly honeyish malts. Very light, but not as plush as usual, with a bit more hard an edge to the malts. Though this seems to do no harm, only making it more crisp. Relatively clean yeast, here, without the heavy mineral nature classic of these yeasts. Hops lighten and become flowery, with some light vanillin on the very end, though not overly problematic.
A balance is achieved between sweet, sticky honey and harder, huskier grains, while a moderate hop bitterness keeps things fairly bright. Still some flowery hop flavor, and the carbonation is appropriate. About as good as it gets in a filtered/forced carbonated, imported bohemian pils.
Like usual, most reviews comment on how drinkable it is, some call it pleasant, almost none have anything bad to say, but yet the numbers do not follow.

Bottle (bought at the Pivni Galerie, Praha): Golden coloured, mid-sized firm head; medium malty nose, traces of caramel and a tinge of hops; initial shy maltiness is overtaken by a very slight hoppiness, which influences the a bit drier aftertaste. A so-so brew, nothing special, nothing overwhelming..........

(Bottle 33 cl) Fully golden with a very limited head. Lots of carbonation. Pronounced bitterness but lacking balance and character. 231104

Pours a very nice deep yellow. Aroma on mine was skunky but not overpowering. Flavor come in two parts. First you get a nice crisp abd citrusy mouthfeel. Second is the after taste, a bit watery and bland. Kind tastes like wet paper as it goes down.

The aroma is dominated by straw and is somewhat sour. The color is dark yellow and it has a small but fast disappearing white head. The flavor is malty with strong notes of straw and grain and a rather hoppy end while the sweetness lingers and turns almost to caramel. A below average pilsener.

Blond to golden color, thin head. Malt aroma, sweetish, honeyish. Decent malt, some sweetness, unfortunately missing a more aromatic hop. Sweetness is the most evident feature.
