500ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is spicy caramel malt with coffee and liquorice. Lots of dark malt throughout, with some coffee. Some apple in the finish. Not much carbonation. Needs work.

Pigs Ear. Clear brown beer, no head, Slightly smoky beer. Dark malt, tangy fruit. Finishes dry. Not too bad.

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium dark brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, chocolate. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, nutty, coffee notes. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100119]

Bottled. A hazy red beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as a bit of nuts. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and nuts, leading to a dry malt.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a hazy deep amber with a rough off-white head. Sweet aroma of nuts and burned caramel. Medium body, low in carbonation, nuts and burned caramel. Very subdued bitterness. 190110
