Bottle shared at Moncada Tap Room, Ladbroke Grove, West London, Friday 7th October 2016 This was a very lively pour, there was some discussion as to whether there might be a slight infection but then I think we sort of dismissed that notion, but itโs lively. Soft in the mouth and a touch smokey, lingering roastiness, really not getting much oysters or brineyness, itโs unremarkable but itโs fine A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - dark brown and close to opaque. Decent head. Nose - soy sauce and charcoal. Taste - more salt and savoury notes. Smoky too. Some chocolate and honeycomb coming back at the end. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy yet dry texture and a long dry and balanced finish. It is complex and interesting. Overall - might put this into porter style but difficult to tell considering big influence of the oyster.
