Berry Good Beer has been oak aged with summer berries from Windmill Hill City Farm. Redcurrants & Worcestershire berries from Windmill Hill City Farm have been infusing BBF’s No.7 with a tart fruitiness whilst spending 2 months in oak barrels. The resulting beer is a delicious but complex beer with the berries giving the beer a wild tart character, very common in Belgian styles of beer.

BCA from My Favourite Beers, Cheltenham, 11.02.12 consumed Sunday 12th Feb 2012 at home. Pours hazy amber with a very slight orangey/reddy hue. The nose is a little woodland like with some fresh berries and wet wood combining. As the description suggests this is tart and tangy with some zappy hedgerow fruits, this then quickly dries out in the mouth leaving a light bitterness and yeastiness. Its actually really quite decent and if I tried this blind I may have felt that this was Belgian. Good stuff. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6
