Cask at The Horse & Groom, Caulcott, Nr Lower Heyford, Oxon, 31.07.11 Pours more light amber than the straw colour in the description. Crikey this is really good, touch surprised as I didn’t think that Tring were really in there with the hoppy boys, but they are and here is proof. Nice bitterness, touch of burnt caramel, actually the bitterness really coats the tongue, quite furry bitterness that really lingers, good depth of flavour, sweet malts, tasty stuff. In good company this is one of the best of the day. A7 A4 8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask, Crescent, Salford. Amber colour with a thin white head. Aroma was citrus hop with hints of tea. Pretty tasty flavour that had a slight soft spiciness amongst the juicy fruit notes. Better than average for sure.
