This super-tasty Triple Oatmeal Russian Imperial Stout is rich, dark and flavorful - the way we like it - this beer is intense! 16 oz. can. Aroma has huge burnt malt, chocolate and subtle bourbon. The malt is almost over boiled and gives a burnt flavor in the flavor. I normally love Hopping Frog stouts. This has heavy bitterness and overly charred malt. The ABV is not harsh but… still not easy to sip on. Major disappointment.

Refrigerated brown bomber poured into a snifter. Black with medium light brown head. Aroma is nice wood, thick body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is wood, nice bourbon, chocolate, and some ash.

A supremely well done beer. Roast and coffee. Black pour with good mocha. Caramel and booze. Dark chocolate. Oily consistency. Bittersweet finish with some barrel tang. Can from Tavour.

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of strong bourbon, smoke, vanilla, licorice, dark chocolate, caramel, sweet malt and mocha coffee. Taste has sweet chocolate, subtle smoke, licorice, caramel, dark bitter chocolate, sweet caramel fudge, heavy booze, bitter maple, molasses and lots of vanilla. Heavy strong stuff, very nice.

(Keg at Panema Kallio, 20200911) The beer poured black. Very small and lightly brown head. Aroma had wood, vineousness, burnt malts and cocoa powder. Palate was full bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, cocoa powder, wood, vineousness, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was woody, burnt and bitter. Good balance of wood and beer. A brew that hid its very high ABV very well.

Bomber from Tavour. Near black pour, tiny ring of beige head. Big boozy aroma, sweet, roasty. Taste begins with booze, chocolate, brown sugar, roadt malts. Burn continues all the way through to the finish. Lingering dark chocolate flavors.

Bomber from Tavour. Pours dark brn/blk with a creamy dark tan head. Aroma of bourbon, burnt malt, anise, chocolate. Very full bodied. Flavor is dark chocolate, burnt malt, heat, bourbon, anise, wood. It is not at all dry, but it evades stickiness. Bitter seems supplied by burnt malt, heat and dark chocolate. Very smooth and slick. Extremely good flavor.

Bottle thanks to Esben! Pours pitch black with a small dark brown head. Aroma has a ton of bourbon, spices, vanilla, roasty ashy malts, burned wood, dark chocolate. Taste has roasty, bitter, tar, burned wood, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate, booze.
