Ein Pale Ale wie man es nicht will: ein süßlicher Körper mit einem metallischen Abgang. Hopfen schmeckt man wohl, aber der ist primär bitter. Besondere Aromen sucht man vergeblich. Wenn man bereits betrunken ist, kann man es wohl versuchen; es ist aber kein großer Genuss.

Appearance: Clear golden color with a white head. Ok lacing.
Aroma: Malty, fruity and light hoppy.
Palate: Medium light body. Moderate sweet and a light bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Plain malty and light hoppy with some fruity notes.
Overall impression: A decent lager. Not to far away from the standard industrial ones.
Personal stats: Bottle from workmate Ana. They do know what I want!

07/12 A 0.33 l bottle at some bar at the main square in Zaragoza. It poured clear yellow body with medium sized head. Weak malty aroma, some fruits, raisins, corn and plastic. Flavor was lightly sweet and acidic, honey, corn and some herbs. Thin bodied with short, rather bitter herbal hop finish. Really wanted to try it, thinking it was something special. I failed.

33 cl bottle @ vPBF, no BBE info
Aroma is rather strong on butter and some grainy malt. Flavour has grainy malt, some butter and hints of hay. An English Pale Ale? Really? This feels exactly like a Pale Lager.

Bottled 330ml (vPBF, BB 12/2012)
Clear golden, small white head. Papery, sweetish malty aroma. Light-bodied. Green apple, grainy notes, cardboard. Not much going here.

33cl bottle from El Corte Inglés, Madrid. Pours golden with a white head. Aroma of malt, cooked vegetables and hints of hops. Feels much more like a cheap, industial pale lager than an English pale ale. Sweet and malty with some bitterness. Ok beer, but very boring. (2012-08-16)

Bottle. Pale yellow, un-pretty head and carbonation. Metallic neutral aroma. Light fruit on the palate, light earthy and leafy hops, which linger a bit. Lightish body, mellow mouthfeel. Light peach retronasal.
