Bottle (present from my wife). Pours black with small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, ripe and dried fruits (prune, raisin and maybe some apricot). Taste is medium bitter and medium sweet in nice balance. Body is oily with soft carbonation. Finish is light bitter and long with notes of bitter dark chocolate, licorice, espresso and grapefruit peel.

Cremiger Malzantrunk, in dem röstige und herbe Aromen vorhanden sind. Während das Malz allenfalls konstant bleibt steigt die Herbe an, die Röstigkeit verschdinet und führt ein Nischendasein, immerhin ist sie aber dauerhaft erkennbar. Ausgewogen aber recht trocken zum Ende, hier gleitet das Bier schnell aus, zeigt zum Ende aber noch einmal bittere und trockene Röstnoten. 12/10/10/9/8/9

Bottled. Quite much pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is ashes, liquorice, some mild spices as well as roasted malts. Flavour is roasted malts, ashes, mild caramel and liquorice along with a quite roasted and grassy finish.
