We scaled up an old favorite (Citra Splendor) with a few modern touches, increased the dry hop, softened the mouth feel and “juiced it up” with a triple dry hop of Citra hops. This hazy, golden, fruity New-England inspired IPA hits all the right notes of delicate bitterness, intense hoppy aromas of bright citrus and tangerine with a juicy finish that bursts with a tropical flavor.

16oz can pours a translucent orange with some sudsy white head. Nose has oranges, zest and juice, floral, some melon here too. Flavor is an ode to orange, zest, juice, rind, creamsicle, you name it. Melon is here too. Maybe that’s the yeast that fermented it? Presents with more tropicals than an all Citra beer should. Not a complaint, per se. Finishes creamy, but fairly easy to drink at 8.5%.
