Bottle. Pours very dark brown with thick tanned head. Dark, but not strong, malty flavour with a note of yeast and grain. A very sweet taste of malt with a bready finish. Too sweet for me. I didn’t finish the bottle.

Bottle. A clear, chestnut colored beer topped by a decent tan head. Rather intense on the nose, well-fried bacon and promises of lots of bacon to come in the flavor. It’s full-bodied and sticky, with flavors of dark sugar, bacon, roasted malts and dried fruits. Some metallic notes in the finish. I like the smoke profile in this one, else it’s too sweet. 100327

33cl bottle. this one with a red label santa hugging a raindeer. from netto. pours brown with a light brown head, settles quite dark almost black. bready caramelly buttery malty sweetish aroma. flavor is sweet malts, slightly roasted malts, brown sugar, dark caramel. the slight roastedness is real nice, also keeps being roasted into aftertaste where the roast balances the sweetness. first time i noticed this in a "nisseøl" and i like it.
