Das FARNY Hefe-Weizen wird bei der Brauerei FARNY bereits seit den 1970er Jahren in Original Flaschengärung gebraut.
Das heißt, die letzte Gärung findet unmittelbar in der Flasche statt. Dieses Verfahren ist aufwendiger als das sogenannte Eintankverfahren. Sie erkennen es sofort daran, dass beim FARNY Hefe-Weizen die Hefe einen feinen Bodensatz bildet, der beim Einschenken in das Glas mit dem letzten Schluck Flaschen-Inhalt, leicht aufgeschüttelt, eingeschenkt wird.

0,5 l bottle from Erzengel. Thanks a lot! BB 01.05.27. Cloudy yellow golden, one finger white head. Yeasty aroma, pale malt, some orange and banana, hints of sulfur. Taste starts with wheat malt, banana and orange. Soft bitterness. Above average carbonated. As expected. Good bavarian standard.

13/9/2025. Bottle from Beer Park, Llanelli. Sweet, wheaty, banana, caramel, herby aroma. Sweet with a hint of tart. Quite lively. Very likeable for style.

500 ml bottle, as Hefe-Weizen. Cloudy dark yellow with a small head. Very yeasty, stone fruity, estery, banana, clove, spicy, peppery. Fruity yeasty sweetness, dry, slightly sourish. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to fizzy carbonated, dry fruity spicy finish. Pretty good Weissbier, very complex, yet refreshing and easy to drink!

# 3818; 9/2023. As Farny Hefe-Weizen. Aroma of ripe banana, pineapple, coriander. Murky yellow-gold body; white head quickly disappeared. Apple, banana, pine apple, fruity, coriander, light spicy. Very fruity and very untraditional hefeweizen. 2 x 0,5 l, bottle, Getränkemarkt, Reutlingen (Swabia, Germany).

On tap at Brauhas Zussdorf. Hazy yellow color. Yeast is significant in aroma. Taste is full, as expected for weizen without any flaws. Great weizen bier indeed.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, bananig. Geschmack hefig, bananig fruchtig, minimal würzig.
