Sehr gelungen! (23.4.2020.)

(bottle) Cloudy, golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Yeasty, juicy malty and moderately wheaty aroma with notes apricots, banana and citrus, backed by mildly phenolic spices. Sweet and slightly sour-tart flavour, medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Juicy malt character with notes of banana, apricot, candied fruits und bearable amounts of cloves; moderately sweet and slightly sour-tart fruity finish with a warming but non-disturbing level of alcohol. Decent. 11.VI.18

€-Fläschla: Golden, cloudy, medium-sized and slowly collapsing lacy off-white head, moderate sweet fruity-wheaty nose, yeasty, phenolic and cellary aromas in the background; almost solid sweet flavour with both a hardly detectable bitterness and acidity - not cloying, that's understood! , medium bodied, quite soft; lingering sweet wheaty-fruity finish, balanced by a shy acidity. An archetypal Weizenbock...
