Slightly hazy amber-brown. Faint aroma of caramel, brown sugar. Sweet, strong but soft dark sugars. Not superlative but it has all the right elements.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malt and sweet. Breadish, caramel and light spiced. Rather sweet, slight herbal and roasted breadish. Ends lingering malty.

Draft. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit as well as lighter notes of alcohol - the aroma is a bit light. The flavor is very sweet with notes of malt, alcohol, and fruit - especially peaches, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. The alcohol warms the breast region.

On tap. Slightly hazy golden with a white head leaving broad curtains of lacework. Sweetish malty nose. Quite full-bodied with a very solid malt base. Subdued bitterness but distinct alcohol in the finish without ever being unpleasant. 080109
