From tap at Ninkasi Saint Paul, Lyon. Clear golden color with white to off white head. Malty aroma, caramel, some homey, light citrusy, some grainy notes. Sweet and light bitter taste like aroma. Light to medium thin to oily body with soft carbonation

Draft at Ninkasi Croix-Rousse. Light to mid-gold. Clear with a bit of white head and lots of lacing. Looks mega-filtered. Smells it, too... although the citrussy malty aroma is pleasant enough. Taste is sweetish and a bit stale and uninteresting. Not particularly fond of this one but it’ll do.

At one of the brewpubs: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is grass. This beer is pretty bitter and a bit herbal. I didn’t like the first few sips as I kept at it, it grew on me. Not bad at the end of the day.

Tasting at Papsø’s
Hazy blond color. The aroma, strangely, is quite fruity. Despite the sudden expectations, the mouthfeel is very dry, with light grassy flavor, and nothing else of interest.
