Maris Otter isn't a German barley... sometimes ingredients and techniques from unexpected places are required to create the flavor we are looking for! This dark lager has a wonderful bready flavor thanks to the blend of German and English base malts, along with the espresso-like char of German roasted barley. Lagered cold for a clean background that lets the grain shine!

Dark black body medium foamy tan head. Roast ash chocolate aroma. Bready toasty roasty flavor. Medium body moderately low carbonation. 7/4/7/3/14 3.5
