Fyra sorters humle: Northen Brewer, Perle. Fuggle och East Kent Golding.
Övrig smaksättare: Kanel, ingefära, apelsinskal och nejlikor.
Alkoholhalt: 5,3%

(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 19 Sep 2008) Reddish brown colour with brief, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit and sour dough bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of dried fruit and Christmas spices (cardamom?). Fairly low bitterness, rather sweet. Not really balanced, but drinkable.

Huge dark beige lasting head. Faintly hazy red-brown body with vigourous carbonation. Sugary, malty, peppery aroma with roasty herbal spicy dried fruit notes. Very harmonic. Dryish spicy fruity taste of cinnamon and cloves with peppery herbal notes. Mouthfeel is kind of thinnish and a bit dusty, but still nice. Taste is long, but there is no distinct aftertaste. Very nice! (0.5l bottle, Systembolaget, Göteborg.)

500ml bottle. Deep, copper brown body with declining beige foam. Momentary aroma of anise and caramel. Sweet malty and dried fruity notes in taste. A bit smokey. Highly carbonated and rather anonymous for a julöl (Nordic Sea, Stockholm, 01.12.2006).

First rating.Draught at Bishops Arms (Avenyn) in Gothenburg, Sweden. December 2005.Pretty boring for a Christmas beer. Nice dark color, but thin body, lacking in scent and flavor.6/4/5/3/10=2.8 Second rating.(50 cl bottle from SWedish Systembolaget).Very sweet grainy sticky, too damn sweet, scent. Clear dark brown color, tan head. Unfermented wort mixed with raw grain. Thin, grainy yogurt, burnt taste. Thin mouthfeel. Very unpleasant, almost like I want to puke. Disgusting! My mouth feels raped! Never sell or brew this again, at least not like this! And above all to the rest, don’t drink it.

Draught
Copper brown, small off-white head. Spicey aroma: clove is dominant. Quite watered spices in the flavor, unbalanced, lacks a good malt profile.
