Doft av rök, torkad frukt, karamell, malt söt men inget som tar överhand. Smaken är dock inte så kraftfull som väntat.

A Christmas beer in February - timing is essential! 330 ml. bottle. Deep amber colour with a slowly fading light brown head. Smoked aroma with ham, caramel malts, ginger and peppers. Taste is smoked and light sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture. Soft carbonated with an a astringent finish with sweet and smoked notes. Nice bock-smoked fusion. Good beer to pair with rustic, traditional Scandinavian winter dishes.

33 cl bottle from Systembolaget. Clear, amber liquid with medium tan head. Aroma is smoked with notes of charkuteries, caramel and bready/biscuity malt. Taste is light sweet, light to medium bitter with notes of smoke and sweet malt. Medium bodied with OK carbonation. One of the better beers to go with Swedish Christmas foods. The smoke plays well against the ham and the meatballs.

Red amber with a small off-white head. Fruity and bready aroma with hints of smoke and ash. Sweet malty flavour with some smoke, a hint of hard roasted malt, and some spice. Well brewed beer, it’s just to weird for my taste

330 ml bottle bought @ Systembolaget and consumed on December 15. Pours deep amber with a fizzy cappuccino coloured head that leaves some trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is malty sweet with wood, grass, sweet grapes and subtle hints of smoke. Taste is sweet and smokey with peat, wood, tar, caramel, orange zest, cloves and hints of anise. Finish is rather bitter with a nice, not too intruding, smokiness. Nice and balanced!
