12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy copper / golden with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out clean corn notes, grassy noble hops, pepper, and some biscuity malt. Flavour is pretty clean, with spicy grassy hop, some light peppery notes, and a biscuity malt backbone. Bone dry, with zero sweetness screaming through. Easy drinking, solidly made pils - nothing wrong with it at all, just not overly ambitious. Decent stuff.

Bottle. A- Grains, straw, hay. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, white head. T- Balanced, slightly bitter, grainy, sweet corn. P- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, crisp dry finish. O- An excellent pilsener. Possibly one of the best lesser common ones out there. Very drinkable and smooth.

Golden color with white head. Light malty aroma with some grassy notes. Taste is very crisp and clean with mild hoppyness. Finishes with some slight bitterness. A very good pilsener!

Pours amber with a small white head.Nose shows honey, light spicy, earthy and herbal hops and some bready malt.Very similar flavours; more honey, bready malt and spicy hops.More carbonation is needed, pretty low at the moment.

12 ounce bottle into lager glass, bottled on 1/31/2017. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy medium golden yellow color with a 1 finger dense and rocky white head with fantastic retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Thick soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Fantastic appearance. Aromas of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, light pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. A bit fruity/yeast aromas, but not overwhelming. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of cracker, white bread dough, lightly toasted biscuit, pepper, and herbal/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and no astringent hop flavors after the finish. Moderately crisp/clean finishing. Very clean on lager flavors; with minimal fruity/yeasty notes present. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness and carbonation. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderate bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 4.4%. Overall this is a very good German pilsener. All around nice robustness and balance of pale malts and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Very clean pils malt showcase, with nice earthy hop presence/balance. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. Held up extremely well for the age of the bottle.

Pretty damn good if this is supposed to be a pilsner. Tastes more liek a pale ale to me. Goes down well with the fried fish and rice with tabasco I’m eating at a bus terminal in San Jose. Lots of hops and some skunk in here. Great for a session beer.
