Pretty damn good if this is supposed to be a pilsner. Tastes more liek a pale ale to me. Goes down well with the fried fish and rice with tabasco I’m eating at a bus terminal in San Jose. Lots of hops and some skunk in here. Great for a session beer.

355ml bottle from S-Market Ykkösrasti, Kuopio

Pours clear golden color with a foamy white head. Aroma of buttery notes, hints of caramely malts. Taste is slightly buttery with some grassy hop notes, hints of lemon and malts. Finish is sweetish with some bitterness and grassy hop notes. A bit unbalanced, doesn’t taste very fresh.

A golden beer with a medium and blond head. Aroma of malts and fruitfull sweetness, aromatic, not europian style Pils. Taste is aromatic, fruits, medium bitterness that is slightly grassy. Almost medium bodied, slightly biting carbonation. Nice and aromatic pils with US touch, more bitterness would be nice.

35,5 cl bottle @ home, no BBE info
Aroma is sweetish and somewhat stale with hay, some fruits, honey, hints of gooseberries and grainy malt. Flavour is sweetish with some corn, grainy malt and gooseberries. Smooth, somewhat sticky and foamy palate. Not your typical Pilsener.

Draught @ Oliver Twist. Pours tiny hazy golden with a rather small creamy white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is slightly sweet and floral with caramel, butterscotch, bread, lemon zest, grass and hints of dry soil and heather. Taste is sweet, bitter and floral with caramel, toffee, bread, lemon zest and orange zest. Mouthfeel is smooth, tiny crisp, highly carbonated, tiny watery and light to medium bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with grass, lemon zest and hints of old sweet dark bread. Quite nice for a pale lager.

Bottle. Sweet, grainy barley malt aroma. Hazy yellow with a small white head. Barley malt flavor with a spicy hop zing in the finish. Light to medium body with decent carbonation, and a dry finish.
