On tap at Mikkeller Viktoriagade. Pours black with a beige head. Cocoa, coffee, and some nuts on the nose. Flavour has lots of bitter coffee, roasted malts, dark chocolate. Fairly high carbonation. Very nice, but almost too dry and harsh.

On tap at Mikkeller Vik, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma has plenty of espresso, moderate roasted malt, and some burnt dark sugars. Flavour is very coffee-forward, with tons of espresso snd bone dry malts to finish. Surprisingly dry for Forager but it works pretty well.

Kinda artificial chocolate, earthy, a bit inky. Same taste. Meh.

A black beer with a beige lacing. Aroma of coffee beans, dark malt, some resinous hops. Taste of roasted dark malt, liquorice, coffee beans, spices.

Dark black body medium creamy tan head. Coffee toffee caramel aroma. Coffee roast chocolate bready earthy flavor. Full body moderately low carbonation. 8/5/8/4/16 4.1

At ABR and later from a can. Black beer. Cold coffee aroma. Heavy roast, some sugar and it is lightly sweet. Good palate on this beer

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours black with a chocolate brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has lots of coffee and roasted malts supported by bitter dark grains. Flavor does a nice job combining roasted malts, coffee and sweet chocolate with roasted malts backing.
