Mislabelled can in the 4 pack. Dark black body small foamy tan head. Maple toffee roast vanilla coffee aroma. Maple vanilla caramel toffee molasses roast flavor. Full body low carbonation. 8/5/9/4/16 4.2

On tap at Melt. Pours black with an earthy brown head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has sweet chocolate and marshmallow with graham cracker and just a hint of dark grain underlying. Flavor has marshmallow up front with growing chocolate plus dark grains and graham cracker supporting.

16 oz. can from The Mansion. Pours black as motor oil with a thick tan head and very good retention. Spotty lacing. Aroma of dark cocoa and booze. You can the flavors of dark chocolate & vanilla, with minor marshmallow and graham crackers notes, and then the 9% ABV kills all the flavor. More bitter than I expected, and not as sweet as I expected either. Medium body. Sticky and slick mouthfeel. Dark bitterness. Not enough roasted notes. For me, this was a big disappointment. Too much pastry and alcohol, and not enough stout.
