Blood on the blade. Pure is the hand. A tangent back to where we already were. A beer that we should have made years ago. Made only with German Pils and Vienna malts, we then step mash before a hearty decoction, as rite of tradition. The beer is then fermented low and slow. under pressure, collecting natural carbonation along the way. We gave it a proper lagering and stuck it in these vessels for your repeatable enjoyment.

This beer is a clear dark reddish-amber color with a medium foamy light beige head that recedes gradually to a dense film. Small strings of lacing. Aroma of roast malt, caramel and hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt, fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet and roasty with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.

Lovely noters of biscuit and caramel with hints of apple, cocoa, and roasted nuts, with a touch of yeast and a mild floral bitterness on the back end. Leans sweet on the fade, but still a nice pint.
