(473ml can from BG18e, Quebec City) Pours opaque orange-gold with a small but clingy white head and spotty lace. Aroma of semi-sweet orange, grapefruit and lime peels, melon, lots of citrus pith, underripe tropical fruits, fruit rinds, cut grass, moderately juicy. Flavour is semi-dry up front but with a strong astringent note, lots of lime peel, grass, citrus pith, extremely soapy flowers (I think lime peel can render soapyish too), just a hint of somewhat juicy orange in there, lightly bready malt, finishes bone dry and heavily soapy-astringent long into the aftertaste, with a little hop burn besides. Medium bodied, light oily vibe, average carbonation. The soapy astringency does not do it for me; not really surprised since both Enigma and Ekuanot are dicey as leading hops for me. My least favourite of this series by a long shot.
