(473ml can from 4th and 7, Toronto) Pours very hazy bright gold with a tight white head and lots of lace. Aroma is bright, sweet and pretty juicy with papaya, mango, gooseberry, grapefruit peels, ample dank grassiness, white grape undertones, a little bready malt. Flavour is much drier than the nose would suggest with green mango, papaya, lots of grapefruit, fresh grass, lightly dank, soft bready malt, bone dry finish is moderately bitter with the peppery dank grassy vibe you'd expect from these hops and a little citrus peel in there, light hop burn. Medium plus body, creamy, soft carbonation. This is an interesting hop profile that's definitely not a true juice bomb but Nelson is nicely backed by the others, good well-drinking dry DIPA.
