Double Chocolate Milk stout that is all about the chocolate! We started with a rich base of chocolate malt and milk sugar and then layered in chocolate at every stage of the brewing process. It is light, fluffy and voluptuous and oozes chocolate in every sip.

Dark brown. No head. The aroma has some chocolate, that sort of fudgey thing Third Moon does with the slightly husky malts. On the palate, it's okay, medium body, some residual sugars but drier than I'd prefer. Mostly chocolatey. A touch of lactose lends sweetness to the finish. It's okay, but

473mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out plenty of cocoa, sugars, and toasted malt. Flavour is sweet and chocolatey, but has little malt depth; the adjuncts are there, but don’t have anything to complement – it’s just sugar and cocoa without anything else. Lifeless and unsatisfying.

473mL can. Pours black with a small tan head. Dark chocolate and lactose on the nose. Flavour has chocolate and milk sugars; little to no malt depth here. There really is just no proper base, too many sugars and adjuncts floating around in the abyss. This is a very mediocre pastry stout.

Canned 473ml. -from Csak a Jó Sör Budapest. Black coloured, medium sized cappuccino like head, chocolate and brown sugar in the nose. Chocolate, caramel, light brown sugar and some alcohol with nutty touch in the finish. Bit too sweet.

Nice balance, sweet but not overly so. Very creamy 😁

(473ml can from the brewery webshop) Pours black with a decent head of tight pale brown froth that fades with a touch of lace. Aroma is sweetish earthy dark chocolate, lactose leaning into that with a slight milkiness, little toasty roast grain and chocolate malt notes, light acidic roast, maybe a little bitter coffee. Flavour is light to moderate sweet up front, very dark chocolate forward with a hint of milkiness, chocolate malt giving those roasted tones, oaty cereal dry vibe, drying into the finish with the bitter side of chocolate, light acidity to the roast, cacao and chocolate bitters aftertaste. Medium bodied at best, a little light for style, but with nice creamy carbonation. Solid brew, I enjoyed my second can more than the first as the chocolate felt punchier and it's the story here.
