(750ml bottle from the cidery webshop) Pours a lightly hazed pale pink grapefruit juice colour with a small whitish head. Aroma is marked by fairly prominent tequila barrel wood/agave combo, crushed grapefruit, floral pepper, punchy acidity, soft grape/berry fruitiness. Flavour is slightly less tequila-forward, moderately acidic, lots of pink grapefruit pulp with accents of red grape, good woody structure, floral peppercorns, soft yeasty funk, long grapefruit and tequila aftertaste with light mineral crispness. Medium bodied, full active effervescence. Fantastic cider, lots of elements at play here with big bold flavours and high drinkability despite the acidity.
