(950ml growler from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours lightly hazy orangish gold with a small but stable white head and lots of lace. Aroma is a mix of dank catty hops with overripe mango, weed and musky tropical fruit, sweet orange, and interesting sweet floral notes I assume are Labrador tea. Flavour is lightly sweet with some slightly catty hops, mango again, orange and grapefruit, very light pale malt and a distinct heady slightly sweet floral quality that builds into the finish with light bitterness, again I think this is the Labrador tea coming into play. Lightish, oily body with soft prickling carbonation. A really interesting combination as the 'tea' feels as much like a quirky hop profile adjunct as anything. Really cool!
