(355ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours rather hazy pale pinkish with a decent off-white head that lingers a little with lace. Notes of somewhat light but very fresh and fruity strawberreis both on nose and tongue, a rare treat despite lower fruit concentration, moderate vanilla and lactose sweetness matched with light citric kettle sour-type acidity, a bit phenolic and almost minty, with a very crisp fruity mineral finish that's a little reminiscient of a gose, finishing very dry with lingering tartness. Light to medium body with moderate plus carbonation. Very refreshing on a stinking hot summer evening with excellent characteristics accurately reflecting the Île d'Orléans strawberries we were eating a lot of at the time as well.
