(On tap @ the brewpub, Toronto, Mar 8/20) Pours very hazy dark gold with a creamy white head and lace. Aroma is nice tropical fruit with some lychee present, papaya, oranges, fresh leafy hops, grassy and floral with moderate sweetness. Flavour is lightly sweet with a mix of papaya and melon up front, lemon and orange citrus hops, floral lychee present but building through the sip around a fairly subtle pale malt core, finishing off dry with pretty strong lychee vibes and fresh hops, low bitterness. Above medium-bodied creamy feel with soft carbonation and no alcohol. I love lychee for sure and this was elegantly made, really nice fruited DIPA!
