(2018 Naked bottle pour @ Witchstock 2018, Toronto, Sept 29/18) Pours hazy pale straw-gold with a small white head. Notes of lightly sweet cereal malts and doughy yeasty bread, ample citrus, lots of somewhat earthy grass and hay notes, even some pine bough-type hits, horseblanket-type Brett funk, light lactic sourness, drying mineral crispness too in the finish. Medium bodied with smooth carbonation. Really nice well-balanced farmhouse with a depth to the funky-grassy axis that is a nice alternative to fruity sour mixed-ferm attempts. More than I expected from Sawdust.
