Tap at Tris Viri Laiva, Riga Pours a hazy chrome yellow with a small white head. There is a vaguely lemon nose. A nice general light citrusy taste with lemon, orange and apple discernible. Finish is crisp apples with just a hint of hops. Pleasant – goes well with peleki zirni (grey peas).

20/9/2019. Bottle from Lauvas Alus, Riga. Pours clear bright gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma of pine, citrus, orange, hops, bitter tropical fruits and grass. Medium fruity sweetness and light to moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Sweet fruity finish and a little bitterness comes through.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy golden with a white head. A slow gusher. Fairly fresh and fruity nose. Body is strangely thick, malty fruity with a soft bitterness. But clean and drinkable without any fuss. 300419
