The "Laughing Buddha" depicted on Lucky Buddha beer is actually not THE Buddha and therefore not religious but cultural. He is incorporated in Buddhist, Taoist and Shinto traditions. The term buddha means "one who is awake", connoting one who has awakened into enlightenment.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Clear golden, mid sized head. Fruity nose with some boiled rice. Sweetish with lihght body and clean, oily mouthfeel. Syrup and rice. Low bitterness.

Thin white head on a clear still clear golden coloured body.
Sweet, malt & grain aroma.
Medium bodied, soft with a lively back.
Pale malts, berry, jam & bready tastes with a sweet fruity finish.

Corn adjunct and a bit of skunk right under the cap. Hazy brownish-yellow, little bits of grain pouring out of the bottle. There's at least some decent malt to it. But also some sugar. At least it's properly fizzy.

Klar lys gylden med hvitt skum som daler sakte. Aroma eple sitrus malt gress humle. Smak malt eple humle sitrus. Fin fylde, rund, lett bitter. Flaske på Temaki, Skottland

Bottle at Han Dynasty: piss yellow with crappy head. Industrial grainy aroma. Sweetish, low bitterness. not very good as expected.

Bottle. Really great bottle. It stops there. This beer is terrible. Gold color, hardly any head. Green bottle skunk in both taste and aroma.

6er from the lcbo. A friend saw this and thought of bringing it to diner. Pale yellow pour,small white head. Aroma of old apples, sweet corn and cheap grain. Dry tasteless finish,pretty boring and not vety good. Gimmick beer with a cool bottle.
