33 cl. bottle at the Delirium Pub. Large rocky white head that died lacing. Golden color. Light funk and citrus. Weird. Near medium body with mild carbonation. It is a bit sour. It’s not sweet. It’s a little herbal hoppy. It prickles in the mouth. It’s light. There’s some heat - but not in the flavor. Citrus and/or a little coriander mighe be there. But it tastes good - just not sure what it tastes like. Wife could not identify anything other than possible citrus. And it goes down like water or white wine. Really, really, good.

Bottle purchased at the Lion Mound gift shop (I’m a sucker for gimmick beers plus it came with a souvenir glass). Sour apple malt and astringent alcohol aroma. Golden yellow with giant, explosive head. Apple juice flavor up front with moderate astringent alcohol finish. Highly acidic and moderate carbonation.

Bottled. Cloudy pale yellow, brief head. Yeasty, vinous nose. Dry and clean surprisingly light bodied. Very little malt, instead there’s yeast and alcohol. Bordering on becoming thin and metallic. herbal bitter finish. Lovely aroma, but lacks body.

Huge, just off-white head, dense & fine-bubbled over well-carbonated golden beer with some orange highlights. Soft-sweet nose, white candi sugar, faintly spicey-herbal. Sweet alcoholic taste. Not cloying, rather dry, but sweet all the same. Faintly flowery, slight bitterish impression as from root spices (dry mustard or horseradish powder). Warming up, something sulphury, as from struck matches, even when no way as sharp. Alcoholic, dry and some alcoholburn; medium bodied, slick. Missing character terribly; the sulphur is a genuine off-taste. Van Steenberge keeps sliding down the chute, it’s not nice to behold. Label beer for [insert at will] ...

Bottle at Cambrinus, Bruges. Hazy gold, thick white head. It is strong, but the banana/tangerine fruit is nice. Very strong alcohol. Crude as SilkTork would say. Not good.
