Made for Bière du Boucanier, the company behind the Boucanier beers. Very likely an alias of Sparta Pils.

Pours a clear golden color, topped with an average white head. Mild malty aroma, some brady notes - not much there, really. Taste is sweet, malty and slightly bready/yeasty. Some bitterness in the finish. Pretty average.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear golden with a white head. Aroma dominated by yeast!! Medium body, discreet, poor maltiness and loads of yeast. I bet this is a "Pilsener" made with a Belgian top-fermenting yeast. But even if it should be an ale it’s rather poor. 041009

Bottled (BB 09/2005)
Pale yellow color with small but quite lasting white head. Sweet, bready malty nose, somewhat hoppy - in the edge is it also harsh or not. Medium-bodied. Average hopping (Saaz), finishing malty. A bit watered down Urquell-clone. Clean, drinkable, but just "ok".
