Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: amber color with a finger's worth of off-white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: toasted malts, some nuts, caramel/toffee notes, wet grains and some woody spices
Flavor: meshes the prior noted aromas to a fair toasty sweet to earthy sweet and malty vibe; finishes toasty, nutty and malty
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable, good smoothness - light grainy tones nicking the tongue - but mostly non-offensive
Overall: pretty good amber/red ale worth coming back to.

Crisp and almost perfectly clear deep dark brown coloured body with a lighter, amber glow towards the bottom and a very thick, five to six centimetre tall off-white head that fades very quickly and barely leaves a centimetre of just off-white head up top. Aroma of black tea, rich malts, caramelised sugars, toffee, earth and a ton of nuts - very strong and pungent throughout with a lot of grainy and deep, slightly pungent scents at the end. Medium-bodied; Strong malty, grainy and deep sweet flavour that shows some hazelnuts, pistachios and of course the black tea and chai-like notes that show a strong and bitter pungency that show a deep and robust pungency with the malts by far the strongest. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with some nuts, earth, grain and especially toffee-like notes and a lot of tea flavours, with a strong, bitter and pungent tea-like flavour at the end with a lighter maltiness as well. Overall, a very strong and bitter earth, grainy and toffee/caramelised sugar note. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 21-December-2019 for US$3,19 sampled at my house here in Washington on 12-October-2020.

12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Hazy cola brown color. Brief tan head. Toasted malt nose is mildly spicy. Rich toasty malt flavor has notes of cocoa, dried fruit and brown sugar. Really well crafted with just the right notes of sweetness and maltiness. Wonderfully balanced and flavorful. Delicious.
