Brewed with toasted French oak chips, which add a touch of smokey, vanilla to the creamy US Liberty hop aroma. The moderate bitterness compliments perfectly the easy style of this beer

Cask-conditioned at the Lord Moon of the Mall (JDW), London 09/06/09. "Smoky Vanilla" sums this one up perfectly. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head. Sweetish malts, some spicy hops and a touch of roasty bitterness in the finish. Ok.

Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading. Amber with a thin white head; woody, herbal aroma; smooth texture with sweet vanilla flavours over a clean fresh bitterness, and a disappointingly short finish. Interesting.
