This beer is brewed with three varieties of hop: Bramling Cross, an East Kent Golding crossed with a Manitoban male; Progress, a Fuggle type released from Wye in 1954; and WGV, a variety bred at the Beltring Hop Farm, Paddock Wood. The hops are grown at the Nicholas family farm in Sandhurst, Kent.

50cl bottle from Chapel Down Winery, Tenterden. Gold with a thin white head; aroma of fresh kentish hops and toast; rich toasted malt aroma, with loads of dry, spicy hops. Really good - I’m glad I took a diversion to pick this up.
