0.33l bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours a dark brown body with a thin beige head. The color of the body was a bit lighter than I thought. Nose is heavy chocolate, some cappuccino. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. In mouth there are lots of chocolate malts, liquorish and some dark fruits in the background. Medium dry finish. Nice one!

330ml bottle, vintage 08, from Vinmonopolet. Initial dense and huge, off-white head, gradually fading to a low level of foam. Fragile lacings on the glass, Nice rosewood body. Smell of sweet chocolate malts. Flavoured with cocoa and roasted dark malts holding notes of both caramel and chocolate. Discreet bitterness on the swallow. Tolerable sweetness. Medium bodied. Absolutely some yuletide mood from this one [at home decorating the Christmas tree, 21.12.2008].
