Copper color, full bodied beer with rich malt tones perfectly balanced between a smooth and delicate sweetness and just the right amount of bitterness. Great hop/floral aromas.

Bottle from Appellation Wines. Clear amber body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of blood orange, grapefruit and boozy peach. Flavour of orange pith, marmalade and caramel. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. I’m surprised by its low RateBeer score - this is pretty good.

Hazy herbal, and a light bit of fruitiness. Fizzy/yeasty and a bit chewy with crystal malt, resiny hops and light phenols.

Shared bottle. Cloudy gold color. Bitter palate but that is only characteristic that stands out. Taste had nothing to offer.

Bottle from Beets. Appearance - bright copper with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - fruitcake and pine. Taste - very bitter pith, some cake again. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long and very bitter finish. Overall - slightly too bitter for me.

12 oz bottle at a taco spot in the West Village, 12/27/14
This one just kind of missed the mark for me. It has a decent, thought sort of boring hop aroma, with a flavor that is similar, but also gets a bit soapy and slightly medicinal. Not terrible, but clearly below average in the style.

Cloudy orange-amber color with medium sized compact head. Some aroma of grains, hay, bread, very light fruity hops. Smooth mouthfeel, it has some caramel flavor, light residual sweetness, not much hop quality, and strong bitterness, although with a chicory final.
Average IPA.

12oz bottle. Friend had it at his place. Drunk on November 1st. Aroma was some light grassy notes, malt heavy. Flavor was grassy, caramel notes, some light citrus. A bit more earthy than I’d normally like.

OK, now its done, macros are making everyday IPA, what’s a beer snob to do? Looks smells and tastes like any other volatile american IPA. Big rude rototiller across the back of my tongue. Waxy oily soapy happy bullshit. Yes, wew, wewwy. Big long nasty ass finsih. Perhaps the hops are blunt and dull due to the age but make no mistake, this is bordering on double ipa territory.

330 ml bottle. Pours a clear amber with moderate head. Light aromas of pine, toffee, and toasted malts. Flavors of pine and doughy malts. Pretty straightforward and simple. Unfortunately there are so many other better local IPAs.

Bottle 330ml (ABM as "Dia De Los Muertos DOA IPA")
Clear amber color, small steady white head. Grapefruit, bready notes and overriped fruits in the aroma. Medium-bodied. Lots of aromatic gooseberry bitterness, grapefruit, passion fruit, tropical notes. Interesting bitter fruit cocktail and certainly something else what you got in Mexico 10 years ago. Tasty.
