Bottled. Deep rubyish amber colour, close to black. Aroma is raisins, mild malts, some toffee and toasted notes. Flavour is raisins, some mild ashes as well as mild notes of plum.

Bottle Courtesy Jessoj bought in Barcalona. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle courtesy jessoj. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are sweet caramel, nuts, malt and hops.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Very black lager. Rich and dark and slightly dry. Easy to drink. Lacks complexity.

Bottle. Very dark color, almost black, whit rich brown head. Caramel aroma. Taste: coffee with bit of caramel, long refreshing finish. Very good beer.

Bottle. Almost black with a medium tan head. Sweet aroma of roasted malt, nuts, caramel. Taste was about the same. Body was about medium, finish was dry. Drinkable stuff.

Bottle 330ml. @ Tasting by Maria.Clear dark red brown color with a average, frothy to creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, prune, brown sugar, light oxidide. Flavor is moderate to light light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20091015]

scura schiuma media non molto persistnte note maltate zucchero di canna leggere tostaure in bocca dolce caramello liquirizia malto il luppolo è praticamente assente

syrup, sweet vinagra, brown sugar, pours dark brown, selltles black, small brown head. flavor : oily, metallic,sweetness from brown sugar, far from as good as aroma. roasted nuts, kinda wel balanced though. as if it had been stored on wood for some time. slight licorice. slight spices. for a spanish brew: great!.

A dark opaque brown ale with a thin moka head. Pleasant aroma of molasses, prunes, and light licorice. In mouth, a light aniseed ,alt with sweet chocolate, but a little lighter than the aroma would let predict. Halfway between a stout and a schwarzbier. Bought at Colmado Quilmez, Barcelona, Mid Nov. 2006.
