A well-rounded mead, prepared from nectarous honey with the addition of cherry juice and a selection of spices to create a harmonious combination of taste and aroma.
This type of mead is produced from honey mash created by mixing 1 part honey with 2 parts water. It needs to mature for about 2 years. It contains 13% alcohol.

750ml bottle-thanks TheCheeseman-pours no head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is perfumy/nail polish remover, honey. Taste is sweet honey, spicy with a bite. Syrupy mouth feel, finishes spicy. Interesting.

Bottle 750ml.Clear medium yellow orange with virtually none appearance head, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing head. Aroma is moderate toffee, honey, alcohol, mazipan notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long long long duration, alcoholic. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy, carbonation is flat, finish feel is moderate alcoholic. [20091003]

Clear golden with no head. Sweet aroma with honey and overripe fruits. Flavour was sweet with honey, overripe fruits and alcohol notes towards the end. Finished sweet with warming alcohol.

Bottled. An amber mead. The aroma has notes of alcohol and honey - a bit too much honey. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes honey, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of fiulijn. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small to fully gone head. Aroma is honey herbal, warming alcohol presence already in the nose. Sweet, fruity and honey herbal flavoured. Smooth and nice balanced. Lingering sweet and honey herbal flavoured finish.
