This Australian lager has a balanced, smooth flavour and body, complemented by mild bitterness and a trace of sweetness. We give GOLD its signature taste by using golden cluster hops that are brewed with the finest ingredients, such as Australian malted barley and our trademark yeast.

Oh, and we hold onto that fresh natural flavour by never adding preservatives to the mix. Ever.

Can of Aussie piss delivered to US of A from Australiashire by fletch. Thanks! It took me three months to drink this after delivery, so it's safe to say it wasn't super fresh. That being said it's not a good beer. Cardboard, some slight diacetyl, light corn. Easy to chug, low boost. Not the best flavour.

Bottle in the Qantas lounge, Melbourne Airport. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is skunky dry cardboard lager malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a malt, dry woody, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Pretty awful.

330ml can. Drank from can. Little syrupy, little acidity, mostly tasted like nothing. Perfectly serviceable, especially on the boat back from a day snorkelling.

27.08.2017, 0,375l bottle @ home, courtesy of Cunningham:
Big bubbly longlasting head. Aroma is harsh floral, weeds, old sour wash cloth, boiled vegetables, raw cabbage, minerals, paper, bark, sour grass. Taste is harsh metallic, weeds, metal tank, paper, bark, old hay, minerals, sour grass, old wash cloth. Medium bitterness, very watery and metallic mouthfeel. What a waste of resources...

Clear golden color with a white head. Decent lacing. Moderate intensity in the aroma. But do NOT put your nose close to the bottle when you open it. Vegetables…. Medium (-) body and an average carbonation level. Decent balanced sweetness versus bitterness. Pale malt, some vegetables and herbal hoppy flavor. Not a decent easy drinkable beer.

I ordered a sunday roast and they gave me 4 of those fuckers. Oh Well Better rate them. Golden, white head. No aroma. Hayish malt, medium light body, light sticky on the palate, a hint cheap hops in the finish. Uninspired macro swill.

(Can) Clear golden yellow with big white head. Aroma has light malt and hints of grassy hops. Light bodied and fizzy. A tart foretaste has some sugary hints to balance, which quickly collapsed to a watery mid-palate and finish. Bad but drinkable if desperate. (Tasted on airplane - lower pressure may affect taste and perception of carbonation)
