Bag-in-a-box at Villi Wäinö, Hki. A murky opaque brown. A few translucent beige floaters for a head. Aroma is very sweet - bannofee pie. Flavourwise it's very sweet before developing a bitter edge into the finish. Underlying cacao malts. Thick. Oily. Flat carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Despite being rather sweet it's pretty pleasent.

Bag in box. Pours deep amber, nose is caramel, toffee, little burnt rubber, taste is sweet, malty toffee, caramel, creamy. 8/7/8/7/7

From a box at One Pint Pub, pours an opaque dull orangey brown with a few bubbles of head. Aroma is full of spicy herbs, soil, some sugars, and earthiness. Flavour is moderately sweet, with plenty of banana esters, some spicy notes, and cotton candy. Sweet, very estery. It’s alright.

Bag in box at Villi Wäinö, Helsinki. Hazy copper colour, no head. Aroma of banana, bubblegum and rye bread. Sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Red berries, rye bread, banana skids and cloves. Low bitterness.

A small taste from wiosna (cask) @ St. Urhos Pub. Pours cloudy amber with a low head. Aroma is sweet malts with some banana. Flavour is sweet malts, banana, juniper. Not bad at all.

Draught@HBF2018. Hazy orange colour with a small creamy off-white head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is ripe bananas, some spices, mild juniper. Flavour is sweet malts, alcohol, ripe bananas. Sweet. Very simple and straight forward Sahti for once.

(Poured from a plastic jug at St Urhos Pub Sahtipäivät 2018) The beer poured deep amber and cloudy. Its head was tiny and white. Aroma had banana, juniper and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were juniper, sweetness, banana, malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness and juniper. A pleasant balanced sahti. Bit too sweet.

Draught @ HBF 2018. Sweet and heavy Sahti with some banana, yeast, juniper and bready maltiness. Quite balanced but I'm still not the biggest fan of Sahti.
