Our classic bourbon barrel-aged Parabola infused with heirloom Ethiopia Misty Valley coffee beans, freshly roasted by our friends and neighbors at Spearhead Coffee. Parabola's notoriously dark, roasted, bourbon-barrel character is perfectly accentuated by the Misty Valley coffee's distinctive blueberry and milk chocolate notes.

Level 42 Bottleshare and no Mark King in sight. Thanks to Padraig for this beast. Almost clear amber - brown beer, thin pale tan head. Palate is softish and mildly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, sweetish bourbon. Fruity bourbon and soft milk chocolate. Soft coffee and a trace of brandy. Smooth finish. Very FW, smooth and rich, nice one.

2016 thanks to MannyG at level 42. It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is rich, sweet, toffee, loads of coffee, vanilla, wood, creamy, treacle, toasted brown sugar, earthy roast and dark chocolate. The taste is dry, bitter, wood, resin, boosty, coffee cake, brandy, boooooost, wood, chocolate, earthy and resinwith a long warming finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Pretty boosty and a touch harsh, but fun for a wee scoope.

From bottle at tasting at Akkurat. Pours dark brown with a light, brown head. A lot of fudge and coffee in the aroma with some vanilla, roast, liquorice and hints of dark cocoa. Flavor is strongly roasted with coffee, some dark fruits, vanilla. Evident barreling here. More balanced and subtle than many other coffee stouts. Love it!
