Clear deep amber color, small off-white head. Bready malty aroma with some grassy and chocolaty notes. Medium-bodied. Flavor is bready and caramalt sweetness. Some fizzy carbonation. Well-brewed sweetish, malty dunkel.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - deep amber with a decent creamy head. Nose - toffee and sweet malt. Taste - more of the same and with some fresh citrus on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - a decent example.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Copper colour small beige head. Aroma is mild fruity, ripe fruits and some resiny notes along with some mild toasted malts as well as toffee. Flavour is fruity, wooden, mild floral notes as well as some resin and burnt wet wood. Mild meaty notes as it warms up.

50cl bottle pours with a clear amber body the has some deep red hues and supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up lots of caramel covered dark bread as well as some light fig and prune notes. The taste is a little thick and a little on the sweet side but not too bad. I get caramel malts, fig and date like sweet dark fruity esters as well as molasses and a mineral sensation. Tasty Dunk!

Empfehlenswert!

50cl bottle, BBE 06/2012. Poured mahogany color with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is bready malty and roasty. Flavor is roasted malt, caramel and woody notes. More caramel in the finish. Light bitterness. Not a bad dunkel.
