December brings the last of our seasonal beers - biscuity and bitter with a long finish.

A colour of dark copper leads to a nose that is hoppy and spicy, a balanced palate and a long, hoppy finish.

There are both crystal and chocolate malts in this tawny beer - it’s full bodied with a delighful hop character from Challenger and Styrian Goldings.

Backlog from March 2013. Slightly unclear dark golden. Not much aroma. Taste of oranges with a bit of spices and hops. Aftertaste of orange marmalade, Tokayer and some spices. Round and a bit flat mouthfeel. High drinkability, but missing bitterness.
