Bottle @ 1780 Restaurant. Pours a lovely amber with a nicely proportioned head. The nose has honey and shredded wheat. The taste has initially a slightly stale cellar aroma, then cardboard and finally a nutty finish. The palate is medium in structure and texture with a dry finish. Overall, so so!

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark golden beer with a small, dense, beige head. Bready nose, malt-dominated, with some fruity hops in the background. Just like one expect from a Scottish bitter. Bready, caramel flavor with some fruits and a little bitterness in the finish. Medium body, dry. A quite nice one, easy drinkable and tasteful. 091024
