We aim for 350 gram of fruit per liter of beer. After at least six months of maturing and fermenting in a stainless steel tank and a second fermentation in the bottle for another six months, we get a feels like summer bright red color with some pinkish tones. A pleasant acidity is matched with the typical lambic flavors and the blackberry aroma comes through very nicely.
Definitely to be enjoyed on a sunny afternoon or to forget about a long winter, craving for some sunshine.

Small whitish rim over orange to terra cotta beer, veiled. Very fruity, but also grassy, farmyard, horseblanket. Dark fruit - could be blackberries, could be plums, could be dark grapes. Ultra dry and tart, fruity, bit vinous. Again fruity, if impossible to say what fruit served blind. Acidthinning, lipsmacking acidity, well-carbonated - if not visually - , refreshing. Delicate and vinous, but it isn't an all-powerful fruitlambic.

15 September 2024. At 16de Brugs Bierfestival. Cheers to Anke, Kevin & Jerre!
Brambleberries, redcurrant, blueberries, hay, leather. Sour brambleberry & blackcurrant, bitter berry skins. Tart finish of berries and soft vinegar. Very fruity, pleasant, not aggressive.
