Clear dark brown beer. Light toffee malt nose. Light crisp palate, some carbonated bite. Reasonably rich malt with a trace of bitter toffee. Finishes crisp and dry. One dimensional but actually works reasonably well for it’s abv.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is strong wooden notes, along with caramell malts and some mild raisiny notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Still rather nice though even though it was

Bottled 275 ml (at Chriso, bottle from SilkTork, BB 05/1990). Dark brown color, small off-white head. Raisins and port in the nose. Very watery. Mild fruity flavor of raisins and pear. Sherryish palate. Aged very well.
